Introduction - Come and join us
We are inviting applications from new players wishing to join the orchestra.
We are a group of young musicians aged 13 to 18 who play to a high standard with weekly rehearsals taking place on Fridays from 6.30pm to 8.30pm during term time at the the Gracie Fields Theatre
Our repertoire ranges from Beethoven to Bartok , Broadway to James Bond and more.
Members work with our conductor David Scott as well as receiving weekly coaching from tutors of the Royal Northern College of Music and other experts.
We are interested in hearing from string, woodwind and brass players. If you play an orchestral instrument to grade 4 or above we would love to hear from you.
The junior orchestra - conductor Sue Verity - invite young musicians who play string, woodwind, brass or percussion instruments to join them on Saturday mornings.
